sayfe.ai · ABAP AI Advisor
Clear the custom-code mountain before it stalls your S/4HANA move.
The ABAP AI Advisor handles the technical side of the migration: it ranks every custom object by Clean Core level, proposes fixes for syntax and ATC blockers, applies them only after a person approves, and keeps functional testing closed until the code is ready.
- Read-only by default
- Every write backed up and re-verified
- Built on AWS
The problem
Technical green on paper still leaves hundreds of blockers in the code.
Conversions stall on custom objects with syntax and ATC debt. Teams hunt them in spreadsheets, discuss fixes in chat, and apply changes without rollback evidence. Chat alone will not clear a few hundred objects.
The ABAP AI Advisor turns that into one governed worklist with a single honest number: the share of objects that are clean or carry a verified fix.
What it does
From assessment to a stable S/4HANA, on one worklist.
Clean Core assessment
Discover objects by package or import your inventory, run ATC with a Clean Core variant, and place every object on levels A–D with a board-ready brief.
Functional impact assessment
Map technical findings onto the business processes they touch, with each object's where-used list, so process owners see what changes for their teams before testing.
Governed syntax and ATC clearance
A worklist that moves each object from analyzed to proposed, reviewed, backed up, applied and re-verified. The clear rate counts only clean and verified fixes.
ABAP Chat for the hard cases
Open one object beside its live source and ask questions; the agent can read source, run ATC and syntax checks, and trace where-used, with every tool call visible.
Functional-test gate
Fail-closed: testing opens only when Level D blockers are at 0 and the worklist clear rate is at least 80%.
S/4 migration cookbook
The sequenced runbook the agents follow to clean, improve and remediate code, then keep watching for clean-core drift through stabilization after go-live.
How a fix moves
Nothing reaches your system without a person saying yes.
01
Import or discover
Inventory spreadsheet or package scan
02
Analyze
Source, syntax and ATC, read-only
03
Propose
Pattern match, confidence, risk flags
04
Review
A person accepts, rejects or defers
05
Back up and apply
Prior source saved, governed write
06
Verify
Syntax re-checked; fixed only on pass
Read-only analysis
Writes are blocked in the analysis client; only the gated apply path can change source.
Backup before every write
Prior source is stored, so any applied fix can be traced and reversed.
Verified, not assumed
An object counts as fixed only after its syntax check passes again.
Works with the SAP Process Advisor
The Process Advisor decides what to migrate. The ABAP AI Advisor gets it there.
The Process Advisor's fit-to-standard assessment sorts the estate into retire, adopt standard, re-engineer and retain. The re-engineer list becomes the ABAP AI Advisor's worklist, on the same objects and the same evidence.
On the roadmap
Test automation
Generate and run regression tests for every accepted change.
Migration twin
A sandbox S/4 client where agents apply and validate before transport.
Cutover cockpit
SUM/DMO guidance, data-migration objects and go/no-go gates.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Does the ABAP AI Advisor change our code automatically?
No. It analyzes read-only and proposes fixes with a confidence score and risk flags. A person accepts each fix; the prior source is backed up first, the change goes through a governed apply path, and syntax is re-checked after every write. Rejected or deferred items stay on the worklist.
How is this different from SAP's own ATC and custom code migration tools?
It uses them. The advisor runs ATC (including a Clean Core variant), syntax checks and where-used through a governed MCP bridge, then does the work around them: ranking blockers, proposing and tracking fixes, backing up and verifying changes, and gating functional testing on the result.
What are Clean Core levels A to D?
Each custom object gets a level from its worst ATC finding: A has no findings, B has information findings only, C has warnings, and D has blocking errors. Level D objects must be cleared before functional testing starts.
Can we start from the custom-code inventory we already have?
Yes. Import an inventory spreadsheet (program ID, object type, object name) or discover objects by package. Duplicates are removed and every object enters the same worklist.
Where does it run, and does our code leave our environment?
It runs in your cloud on AWS and reaches SAP through a governed MCP bridge you control. Analysis is read-only by default; writes are only possible through the gated apply path your team enables.
